About Thompson falls sport camp

Thompson falls Sport Camp is a member of Kenya Youth Hostel Association, an officiate of Hostelling international with hostelling networks worldwide. Opened in April this year, Thompson falls Sport Camp is a new service provided for adventurer, sports and conservation. Our mission to be a leader in sport tourism in Kenya.

The hostel is located at the high altitude climate region of Kenya
(2340 masl, meters above sea-level ) frequented by athletes training to participate in international athletics competition worldwide.

Nearby attractions includes Thomson falls, lake Ol bolossat and its wetlands rich in bird species Hippos and Subukia escarpment. As a budget facility, it is an overnight stop for tourists enroute to Aberdares, Mt. Kenya, Rumuruti, Samburu Maralal, Nanyuki and Laikipia areas.

Facilities at the hostel/ campground consist of 3 ensuite round shaped cottages, bus dorm, cafeteria, self catering kitchen, meeting hall -50 people, jogging track and a 4km adjacent earth round for athletes training. All situated in a natural environment.
